Coir
The coco-fibre is collected from the coconut husk and once transformed into sheets, it is used in products, providing excellent ventilation properties. The sheets can be sprayed with natural latex for rigidity and at the same time acquire elasticity. The sheets can also be needled. Doing so, the sheet acquires ventilation properties and resilience.
The coir fibre is a very tough fibre. It’s elastic, strong and - in time - it hardly deteriorates. The fibre has good properties for temperature management (insulation and mattress) and sound/wave absorption (sound insulation and microwave absorption). It’s a hygroscopical fibre so it binds excess room humidity
