Camel
We use the fine, soft undercoat of the fur of
the two-humped Bactrian camel. Camel hair has excellent
thermostatic properties, protecting and insulating the
camel in high mountain cold and blizzards, while keeping it
cool in desert heat. Native desert travellers wear camel
hair garments to protect them from the heat. These same
properties are found in fabrics and non-wovens made from
camel hair.
